We are seeking a Logistics Supervisor to join our operations team. This position is responsible for overseeing transportation, shipping, receiving, inventory movement, and material handling activities within the facility. The Logistics Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and leading a team of logistics personnel while upholding safety, quality, and productivity standards.

• Monday-Friday, 1st Shift

• Supervise daily logistics operations including inbound and outbound shipments, inventory movement, freight scheduling, and order fulfillment
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure efficient movement of materials and finished products
• Manage shipping and receiving activities while maintaining safety, quality, and delivery standards
• Develop and coordinate delivery schedules with transportation partners
• Track and monitor shipments and resolve delivery issues
• Maintain logistics documentation including bills of lading, freight invoices, and inventory records
• Lead, train, coach, and develop logistics team members
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment
• Follow SmartCap Health & Safety policies
• Perform additional work-related duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent
•  3+ years of logistics, transportation, warehouse, or supply chain experience
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience
•  Working knowledge of logistics software and ERP systems
•  Strong organizational and communication skills

• Manufacturing or automotive-related experience
• Forklift certification preferred
• Experience with inventory control and freight coordination
• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS)

• Almost continual standing or walking
• Frequent kneeling, bending, and reaching
• Frequent lifting and moving of materials
• Ability to work in office and warehouse environments

• Frequent work in a non-climate-controlled environment with seasonal temperature changes
• Considerable exposure to noise levels from manufacturing equipment
