Description:

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Groundskeeper to perform a combination of outdoor grounds maintenance and general facility upkeep across multiple property locations. This role includes responsibilities such as lawn care, snow removal, and light building maintenance. Ideal candidates are physically capable, proactive, and comfortable working in all weather conditions and settings (indoor and outdoor).


Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular lawn care, including mowing grass at multiple locations.
  • Trim edges and maintain landscaping features (shrubs, hedges, trees, etc.).
  • Remove weeds manually and through the use of appropriate tools or treatments.
  • Conduct seasonal tasks such as leaf removal and snow removal (shoveling, snow blowing, salting walkways).
  • Maintain and operate landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.).
  • Report any maintenance needs or safety concerns to supervisors.
  • Assist with basic irrigation system checks and maintenance.
  • Remove trash and debris from outdoor areas.
  • Perform minor repairs or touch-ups to outdoor furniture, fencing, or signage.
  • Perform manual/physical labor tasks such as hand packing/stacking, inspection, rework & sort operations as needed
  • Operate a hand or ride one pallet jack to move product within the facility
  • Operating various automated packaging & processing equipment in the production process.
  • Setting up machinery and ensuring all production materials are readily available for each run.
  • Operating and monitoring equipment and replenishing materials as needed.
  • Visually inspecting production runs and documenting results.
  • Troubleshooting minor line and equipment issues and notifying maintenance if unable to resolve.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned area, perform set-up and changeovers of equipment.
  • Wash, peel, cut, prep, and package various fruits and vegetables.
  • Weigh and measure produce
  • Apply labels to packaging
  • Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage.
  • Follow company safety and food safety procedures.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, or silverware.
  • Maintain and adhere to GMPs
  • Accurately record and document equipment readings
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1+ year of experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or general maintenance preferred
  • Familiarity with power tools and landscaping equipment
  • Basic knowledge of lawn care, plant health, and snow removal best practices
  • Familiarity with basic repair skills (plumbing, painting, minor electrical or carpentry)
  • Ability to pass a background check and/or drug screening, if applicable
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills. Need to be creative, adaptable and able to accurately handle out-of-the-ordinary issues with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work in the cold
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
