Job description

We’re looking for an Integration Engineer to help design, build, test, deploy, and support API-driven solutions for a large-scale digital transformation initiative. This hybrid opportunity offers the chance to work on modern cloud and enterprise integration patterns using AWS, API gateway technologies, microservices, and hands-on engineering best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement integration solutions that support API-led transformation and modern microservices-based architectures.
  • Build, test, deploy, and support cloud and enterprise integrations with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Develop reusable code, templates, and accelerators to improve delivery speed and consistency.
  • Apply integration best practices across performance testing, configuration, automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, product teams, and client stakeholders to align solutions with business and technical goals.
  • Contribute to discovery, planning, estimation, architecture discussions, and solution design activities.
  • Support production readiness and ongoing operational support for APIs and integration platforms.
  • Help document technical patterns, examples, and reusable approaches to share knowledge across teams.
Skills
  • Hands-on experience designing and delivering integration solutions using API-led and microservices-based approaches.
  • Practical AWS experience supporting cloud-based integration work.
  • Experience with API gateway technologies, including API configuration, security, and support.
  • Strong REST API development experience, ideally using Java, Spring Boot, and/or Node.js.
  • Working Java experience sufficient to build, troubleshoot, and support integration components.
  • Understanding of integration patterns, service orchestration, API security, error handling, logging, and resiliency.
  • Experience with unit testing and integration testing.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a delivery environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical partners.
Preferred Skills
  • MuleSoft experience, including Anypoint Platform, CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or on-premise deployments.
  • Experience with GraphQL service implementation.
  • Knowledge of event-driven architecture and tools such as Kafka or MQ.
  • Exposure to Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Experience with AWS-native integration services and cloud integration tooling.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
  • Experience with relational databases such as Db2, Oracle, or MySQL.
  • Strong scripting skills, especially with JavaScript.
