Job description

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a travel Outpatient Radiation Therapist for a travel job in Grants Pass, Oregon.

Join an outpatient team in Grants Pass, OR where your skills as a Radiation Therapist deliver precise, compassionate care to patients receiving external beam radiation therapy. You will operate Varian TrueBeam and Elekta Infinity treatment machines, work with Mosaiq record-and-verify systems, and collaborate with oncology professionals to verify treatment plans and monitor patients during therapy.


Minimum Qualifications


• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.

• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy.

• Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) registration or state license if required.

• BLS (AHA) certification.

• At least 5 years of experience in external beam radiation therapy patient treatment delivery, including experience on Varian TrueBeam and Elekta Infinity machines.

• Experience using Mosaiq record-and-verify and EPIC charting systems.

• Ability to perform CT scans as part of department responsibilities.


Preferred Qualifications


• Previous outpatient radiation oncology clinic experience.

• Experience working with two-therapist workflows on treatment machines.


Assignment Details


  • Shift Hours: 0800-1700.
  • Work Days: Monday through Friday (regular work days).
  • Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
  • Orientation: approximately 12 hours; department-specific shadowing with expectation an experienced therapist will be up to speed in 3–5 days.
  • Therapists will not work alone on treatment machines; two therapists per machine.
  • Locum therapist duties: treat patients daily and perform CT scans as required.
  • No routine weekends. Weekends only in rare events such as machine downtime requiring treatment make-up.
  • Dedicated to Radiation Oncology department only; no floating to other departments.
