ESSENTIAL TASKS:

  • Inspect material, mark defects and flaws for grinding and remove defects with hand grinder if required.
  • Weighs, band, mark, stamp, tag and identify material after re-grinding.
  • Check dimensions and surface quality to meet customers' requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with established grinding techniques.
  • Detect and report defective material and improper operations and unusual condition to proper supervision.
  • Comply with prescribed safety regulations and keep area clean.

NON-ESSENTIAL TASKS:

  • Perform other duties as required or directed by work leader or supervisor.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Required to pass In-dept vision screening
  • Requires the use of some judgement to inspect and mark defects.
  • Be able to read and follow written procedures.
