Job description

The Center at Park West is looking for a Maintenance Assistant / Patient Transportation Driver to join our team! This position will start with full-time hours to support facility improvements and will transition to a part-time or seasonal role based on business needs.

What You'll Do
  • Perform general maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the facility.
  • Complete basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and mechanical repairs.
  • Maintain the building and grounds to provide a safe, clean environment.
  • Replace lighting, clean windows, and complete routine maintenance tasks.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and assist with facility projects.
  • Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments and other approved destinations using facility vehicles.
  • Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle while ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding transportation schedules and resident needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Maintenance experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
  • Ability to safely operate facility vehicles.
  • Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
  • Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
