Job Summary

Oversee a given territory, managing Customer relationships and PHNX Regional Account Managers who team with you to support those customer relationship

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Customer Relationships

  • Serve as the primary interface with the customer
  • Understand Customer Requirements to include
    • Timelines
    • Budgets
    • Specifications
    • Seasonal buying patterns
  • Provide on-site services to include
    • Demonstrations
    • Sizing
    • Consultative support
    • Carry forth Product Knowledge, industry knowledge, and like customer best practices
    • Understand and convey Industry Trends
    • Build and maintain interpersonal relationships at multiple rank levels
  • Accept and process orders
    • Add customer information/records
    • Properly and accurately enter order detail
    • Have intimate knowledge
    • Develop an order monitoring process
      • Ability to track critical and important orders
    • Effectively convey Customer needs to PHNX Operations team
  • Dynamic Problem Solver
    • Identify and resolve unique customer problems and requirements
  • Order expediting
  • Convey to Customer Vendor capabilities and Limitations
  • Forecasting

Vendor Relationships

  • Convey Customer Requirements
  • Custom order Follow-up i.e. Turnout gear, Body Armor, Hose etc.
  • Dynamic Problem Solver
    • Identify and resolve unique customer problems and requirements
  • Facilitate Customer/Vendor meetings on tactical and strategic level
  • Forecasting

Understand your Market dynamics

  • Understand pricing dynamics of your marketplace
  • Understand your competitors
  • Maintain ongoing knowledge of local, state, specialty group ,and federal grants

Vehicle

  • Maintain vehicle
  • Be responsible for use of Company Credit Card

Qualifications

  • Must be proficient at Excel, Word, and uploading/downloading files and photographs
  • Must have advanced understanding of Brightpearl Software
  • An ability to cooperate and get along with others
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
