Aftermarket Specialist
Job Summary
The Aftermarket Specialist is responsible for managing and growing the dealership's aftermarket accessories and protection product sales. This role works closely with the sales team, service department, and customers to identify opportunities for accessories, performance upgrades, protection packages, and vehicle personalization. The goal is to enhance the customer ownership experience while increasing dealership profitability.
Essential Functions
  • Present and sell aftermarket accessories and protection products to new and pre-owned vehicle customers
  • Work with the sales team to identify accessory opportunities during the sales process
  • Coordinate installation of accessories with the service department
  • Maintain strong product knowledge of OEM and aftermarket accessories
  • Manage inventory and ordering of accessories and aftermarket products
  • Ensure proper pricing, packaging, and promotion of accessory options
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with installed products
  • Help develop promotional packages and seasonal accessory campaigns
  • Track and report aftermarket sales performance and opportunities

Qualifications
  • Automotive dealership experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of automotive accessories, upgrades, and protection products
  • Excellent communication and sales skills
  • Ability to work cross-departmentally with sales and service teams
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingual skills preferred but not required
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Experience selling automotive accessories, lift kits, wheels, tires, bed covers, tint, PPF, ceramic coating, etc.
  • Familiarity with Ford OEM accessories through Ford Motor Company programs
  • Experience with dealership management systems
