About Us:
Pinnacle Dance Company is a dynamic and inclusive dance studio located in the heart of Kansas City, KS. We are dedicated to fostering creativity, confidence, and community through dance. Our mission is to inspire dancers of all ages and backgrounds to reach their fullest potential through high-quality instruction and performance opportunities.

Position Summary:
We are currently seeking an energetic and experienced Dance Instructor to join our talented team. The ideal candidate is passionate about dance, committed to student growth, and comfortable teaching a variety of styles and age groups. This position includes both in-studio and potential virtual instruction.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach weekly dance classes in one or more of the following styles: ballet, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, contemporary, tap, or acro

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate choreography and technique instruction

  • Provide constructive feedback while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Prepare students for seasonal recitals

  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to support studio events and activities

  • Maintain a professional and punctual presence in all classes and studio interactions

  • Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding progress, attendance, and studio updates

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in a studio, school, or performance setting

  • Strong background in at least one core dance style; multi-style proficiency preferred

  • Ability to work with diverse age groups, from young children to teens

  • Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset

  • Comfortable teaching both in-person and via virtual platforms, if needed

  • CPR/First Aid certification is a plus, but not required
