Job description

As a Seasonal Operator, you will be responsible for providing quality products and services in the operations that will assist member owners of River Valley Cooperative to be financially successful in their farming operations and provide for a sustainable local cooperative operation to serve member needs.
What You'll Do:
  • Operate and maintain all equipment and vehicles
  • Handle and deliver bulk and packaged chemicals
  • May unload and load grain from storage bins and or transportation.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections
  • Clean and maintain equipment
  • Utilize heavy machinery, such as an end loader or skid steer
  • Observe all OSHA, DOT, state, federal safety regulations at all times.
  • Follow housekeeping practices that keep the facilities neat and clean.

What You'll bring:
  • Previous experience in agriculture or a related field preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • CDL or Seasonal CDL is a plus!

Working Conditions:
May be exposed to dust, noise, heat, cold, ag chemicals, and vapors, and moving machinery. May be required to work long hours in season, as well as work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
