Job Summary
Responsibilities:
This position will provide professional psychological services to TRIO SAS students at Winona State University. This will include, but not be limited to individual and group therapy, case consultation, and assessments. This position will also provide academic advising services, workshop development, and coordinate tutoring for students. They will be actively engaged in department and division activities and workshops on Winona campus. Evening and weekend hours may be required.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Current pursuit of independent state license through supervision within board-specified required timeframe
  • Excellent communication skills, including interpersonal, written, and public speaking.
  • Effective organizational and administrative skills.
  • Timeliness and attention to detail in work functions.
  • Must pass a Psychotherapist check per Minnesota Statutes Chapter 604.20 prior to hire.
  • Must also pass a Criminal History Records check pursuant to MN Statute 299C.60-64

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with a TRIO program or with underrepresented students
