Description

The Merchandise Processor is responsible for accurately and efficiently picking, packing and shipping inventory to our customer and stores.  Following and meeting department Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) in a Distribution Center environment.  

The base salary for this position is $17.00/hr. In addition, other benefits include:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Follow department SOP’s to accurately count pick, pull and pack inventory
  • Apply basic math skills to verify and adjust quantities, and accurately fulfill orders
  • Operate a computer/tablet, RF scanner, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and/or manual tracking information to facilitate the flow of inventory through the DC
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols, to ensure a safe work environment
  • Lifting cases, cartons and inventory up to and down from conveyor lines or storage areas
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds continuously throughout the entire shift, including lifting items both above and below shoulder level
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols, to ensure a safe work environment
  • When necessary, individual is flexible and willing to work in other areas of the DC
     
Minimum Salary: $17.00

VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in a distribution, warehouse, or logistics environment is a plus
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand for the duration of shift with breaks
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented
