Job description

MCP is looking for a highly motivated & self-driven sales representative to join our newly formed sales organization. This is an exciting opportunity to develop innovative strategies to achieve sales goals and build a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities across the digital health landscape which serves clients in the ambulatory, acute, post, acute, payor, medical device and pharma markets. Responsible for using your knowledge of Mayo Clinic, MCP and the healthcare value chain to connect with customers and generate sales for MCP. 

Primary responsibilities will include:
- Be knowledgeable about MCP products and services.
- Build a pipeline. Identify prospective customers and manage through the sales pipeline. Maintain and grow relationships.
- Conduct presentations to demonstrate to potential customers the benefits of MCP products and services.
- Discover customers' needs and tailor presentations and sales pitch of MCP products and services to address those needs.
- Negotiate prices and terms and work with internal constituents to prepare sales agreements.

A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years' experience in sales or business development within the B2B healthcare market. Incumbent must have a demonstrated understanding of the healthcare technology industry and understanding of new technology opportunities. An understanding of the use of Artificial Intelligence within healthcare to drive better clinical decision support and outcomes across the ambulatory, acute, post-acute, payor, medical device and pharma industries will be important. Must demonstrate the skill to communicate technology- and data- based product solutions to advance medical care. Must possess excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a variety of different people with diverse backgrounds and build meaningful relationships. Must have strong communications skills, especially persuasion, to clearly convey the benefits of a product to a potential customer.
