Position Summary
As a Construction Laborer/Worker, you will play a hands-on role in building and installing custom ponds, waterfalls, streams, filtration systems, and outdoor living environments. This position works within our Construction Department on residential and commercial projects throughout the region.
The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, thrives in a fast-paced team environment, and is passionate about creating high-quality outdoor spaces. This role involves physical labor, equipment operation, landscaping, plumbing, rock work, and customer interaction on job sites.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the construction and installation of ponds, waterfalls, streams, pondless water features, and other aquatic environments
  • Support excavation, grading, trenching, and site preparation for construction projects
  • Install pond liners, plumbing lines, pumps, filtration systems, aeration systems, lighting, and related water feature equipment
  • Perform rock placement, boulder work, gravel installation, and landscape finishing details
  • Assist with hardscaping and landscaping elements associated with pond builds and outdoor living spaces
  • Operate and assist with construction tools, equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently
  • Load, unload, organize, and transport construction materials, tools and equipment to and from job sites
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites, vehicles, trailers, and warehouse areas
  • Work closely with crew leaders and team members to complete projects on schedule while maintaining FFP quality standards
  • Interact professionally with customers on-site and maintain a positive, client-focused attitude
  • Accurately complete daily job notes, time tracking, material usage, and project documentation using company provided devices
  • Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment at all times
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed

Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in the construction, landscaping, hardscaping, excavation, masonry, or related outdoor labor industries
  • Experience operating construction tools and equipment - A Plus!
  • Basic plumbing, mechanical, or outdoor construction knowledge preferred
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, and rain
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting 50+ lbs, digging, bending, carrying materials, and standing for extended periods
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated punctuality, reliability, and professionalism
  • Basic technology skills with the ability to use an iPad or mobile device for job documentation
  • Familiarity with ponds, water features, landscaping, koi fish, or aquatic systems is a plus
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record required
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods as needed

Position Salary
Full-Time | $18.00 - $22.00/ hour
