Job description

Job Summary:
Skechers is a global Fortune 500 company that develops and markets a diverse range of lifestyle and performance footwear, apparel, and accessories. The role of Product Development Manager - Apparel involves overseeing graphic development for both Asia and Western Hemisphere regions, managing production, and ensuring timely execution through effective communication with vendors.
Responsibilities:
• Manage graphics development for both Asia and Western Hemisphere regions.
• Manage Western Hemisphere development and production.
• Manage special projects development and production.
• Lead biweekly TB meetings with Western Hemisphere teams.
• Update and maintain biweekly agendas for Western Hemisphere meetings.
• Lead Commercialization meetings.
• Initiate commercialization form setup for Western Hemisphere Vendors.
• Responsible for sending commercialization forms for Western Hemisphere Vendors.
• Approve Intertek inspection requests for final inspection by providing CM forms.
• Review weekly WOOS from Vendors.
• Initiate seasonal TNA board updates on Monday tracker.
• Lead graphics review meetings.
• Manage graded artwork files requests.
• Oversee graphic dual development.
• Manage graphic wash test requests.
• Send graphic comments to all vendors and maintain updated WIP.
• Communicate daily with Western Hemisphere vendors.
• Communicate daily with Asia vendors for graphics development.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum 7+ Years experience in the Apparel Industry.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical/Problem Solver.
• Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines and a self-starter.
• Strong communication skills- verbally and written.
• High attention to detail and excellent follow through.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced work environment.
• Computer proficiency; Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook), PLM (Product Life Management) system.
