You will work with modern cloud platforms and infrastructure-as-code tooling—including Microsoft Azure, Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Windows/Linux server platforms—to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in hybrid environments, enjoys automating cloud operations, and is passionate about building resilient cloud infrastructure aligned with best practices.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform (preferred) or Bicep
  • Deploy, configure, and manage AKS clusters, including node pools, scaling, networking, and workload deployments
  • Support hybrid cloud workloads integrating on-premises datacenters with Azure
  • Administer Azure identity and security components (Entra ID, managed identities, RBAC, Conditional Access, Key Vault)
  • Design and manage Azure networking solutions including peering, VPN gateways, ExpressRoute, UDRs, routing, and firewall policies
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
  • Troubleshoot complex cloud, network, and identity issues across hybrid environments
  • Participate in cloud architecture reviews and assist with capacity planning
  • Develop and maintain cloud documentation, standards, and diagrams
  • Collaborate with security, networking, and application teams to ensure platform alignment
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and incident response as needed

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years of experience supporting Azure cloud infrastructure in an enterprise environment
  • Hands-on experience with:
  •   - Azure resource deployment and management
  •   - Virtual machines, virtual networks, storage accounts, load balancers
  •   - Azure Firewall, NSGs, ASGs, VPN gateways, ExpressRoute
  •   - AKS deployments and configuration
  •   - Entra ID and identity governance
  •   - Terraform (preferred) or other IaC frameworks
  •   - Windows and/or Linux system administration
  • Strong understanding of:
  •   - Cloud networking (DNS, routing, VPNs, hybrid connectivity, private endpoints)
  •   - Cloud security principles (least privilege, identity, encryption, network segmentation)
  •   - High availability and disaster recovery design
  •   - Monitoring and log analytics
  • Experience supporting hybrid environments (on-prem + Azure)
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
  • High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft certifications such as:
  •   - AZ-104: Azure Administrator Associate
  •   - AZ-305: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  •   - AZ-700: Azure Network Engineer Associate
  • Experience with automation using PowerShell or Python
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture principles
  • Experience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for cloud infrastructure deployments using Azure DevOps
