Description

This role will be supported in attaining their CDL with Tanker and Hazmat over a 3-year period.

This role is essential in supporting delivery drivers, service technicians, and completing various operational and maintenance projects. You will perform hands-on, physical work both indoors and outdoors, gaining valuable skills through supervised training and contributing to our high-performing, safety-focused team.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in loading and unloading propane tanks, cylinders, and other products onto trucks following company safety standards.

 - Support the delivery drivers and service technicians on job sites, including setting propane tanks, assisting with appliance installations, and performing equipment repairs.

 - Operate basic tools and machinery safely and effectively.

 - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including the service garage and company vehicles.

 - Perform seasonal tasks such as snow removal, yard cleanup, or site preparation as needed.

 - Follow all company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance procedures.

 - Communicate professionally and courteously with customers and team members.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

- High school diploma or GED equivalent.

 - Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR).

 - Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

 - Strong customer service orientation and positive attitude.

 - Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

 - Willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in general labor, construction, or mechanical work.

 - Familiarity with propane or gas industry operations (a plus, but not required).

 - Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 100 lbs.

 - Capability to work in a variety of outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.

 - Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.

 - Comfort with performing physically demanding tasks safely and efficiently.
