Part-Time Sales Associate

Hunt & Bloom is seeking a personable, polished, and enthusiastic Part-Time Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate has a genuine interest in home décor, design, entertaining, and gifts, along with a natural ability to provide warm, attentive customer service.

Our Sales Associates play an important role in creating the Hunt & Bloom experience—from welcoming customers and assisting with purchases to maintaining the beautiful presentation of our store. We are looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment, and willing to pitch in wherever needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, knowledgeable assistance throughout their visit.
• Help customers select home décor, gifts, tabletop, accessories, and furnishings based on their needs and personal style.
• Develop familiarity with Hunt & Bloom's products, collections, vendors, and brand aesthetic.
• Provide a high level of customer service reflective of a luxury retail environment.
• Process sales, returns, exchanges, and other transactions accurately through the point-of-sale system.
• Assist with gift wrapping and preparing purchases for customers.
• Maintain the visual presentation and overall appearance of the sales floor throughout the day.
• Restock merchandise and ensure products are properly priced, tagged, and displayed.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, pricing, and placing new merchandise.
• Help create and refresh displays and merchandising throughout the store.
• Keep merchandise, shelving, counters, and customer areas clean, organized, and presentation-ready.
• Assist customers with special orders, product inquiries, and locating merchandise.
• Help prepare the store for seasonal changes, events, promotions, and new product launches.
• Support inventory counts and other operational tasks as needed.
• Work collaboratively with the Hunt & Bloom team and willingly assist with responsibilities outside of traditional selling when needed.
• Assist with e-commerce team with various tasks including processing and packing orders for shipping.

Qualifications

• Previous retail, hospitality, customer service, or interior design/home furnishings experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a warm, engaging personality.
• Interest in home décor, interior design, gifts, entertaining, and luxury retail.
• Excellent attention to detail and appreciation for visual presentation.
• Professional appearance and communication skills.
• Dependable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently when needed.
• Comfortable using a point-of-sale system and basic retail technology.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform typical retail tasks, including unpacking merchandise and moving or lifting merchandise as appropriate.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
• Flexibility to work weekdays and/or weekends based on store needs.
