Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs), fuel dispensing systems, and GPS navigation is typically required. CredentialsDriver's license, CDL often preferred; safety training
Work EnvironmentOutdoor, on-site at oil and gas fields, seasonal workload
Employer & IndustryOil & gas companies, drilling contractors

Seasonal Frac Fuel Drivers often work long shifts that can include nights, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak drilling seasons. The work is typically performed in remote oilfield locations, and drivers may need to stay on-site for extended periods. Adapting to variable weather and challenging terrain is common, and safety protocols are strictly enforced. Teamwork is essential, as drivers coordinate closely with site supervisors and equipment operators to ensure timely and safe fuel delivery.
