Agronomy General Laborer

 

SALARY RANGE: $18-$20/HOUR

 

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.  In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions

 

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

 

The purpose for this position is to assist the agronomy team with day-to-day operations including equipment preparation, product handling, and plant support tasks.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

Assist in filling NH3 tanks

Help transfer and deliver products between locations.

Support equipment set-up and field operations.

Assist in maintenance of operations and equipment at location.

Provides excellent customer service.

Works with location manager on all safety and compliance issues.

Assist operators and drivers as needed

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof.

Mechanical or farm experience preferred.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Frequently required to lift 51-70 lbs as needed.

Frequently required to work in extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.)

Frequently exposed to working conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures

Will be required to work hours other than those considered "normal" to meet seasonal demands.
