Location: Remote, USA

Gross annual base salary: USD 99,000-128,500

Additional variable compensation and benefits may apply. Total compensation is based on experience, skills, and location using objective, job-related criteria.

Summary

The Technical Solution Engineer will help build the next-generation of application development accelerators for the Solution Developer Kit - a development accelerator for the OneStream platform. This individual will use their background in Microsoft .NET technologies to develop solution accelerators, which are tools that speed the development of OneStream packaged applications. Your primary responsibilities will be to design, develop & maintain the accelerators as well as provide best-practice recommendations and guidance to our partners on how to build solutions on the OneStream platform.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and architect solutions that work interactively (web based, inter-process, embedded).
  • Lead design discussions for new accelerators. Provide complex design requirements for major features and new solutions.
  • Work closely with the Product and Engineering team to ensure alignment on evolving Genesis/Solution Packaging Kit development standards.
  • Provide documentation of source codes, defining standards and improve them, APIs, flow diagrams, reviewing code requests.
  • Provide unit testing for other team members code and solutions.
  • Engage with individuals outside of Product & Engineering - internally, and externally, to understand their Genesis block development priorities and maintain their engagement with the broad Genesis solution direction and standards.
  • Support the compilation of Genesis block development standards in collaboration with the Product and Engineering team and Solution Network leadership.
  • Support the delivery of required toolkits including the Solution Packaging Kit, Productization Playbook and any such toolkits as may be needed to enable the partners to develop with Genesis, including use cases and innovative custom page integrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders inside and outside Solution Network to build, update, and deliver toolkits, ensuring alignment with leadership priorities.
  • Contribute to commercialization efforts by supporting Genesis-related release activities and collaborating with key team members.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Development or related field; or equivalent technical discipline experience.
  • 5+ years in .NET software development.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in enterprise software or SaaS environments.
  • Proven experience in working with cross-functional teams and contributing to definition of product vision or standards.
  • Understanding of platform architecture, reusable components, and modular design (low-code/no-code experience is a plus.)
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities; comfortable translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Technical familiarity and implementation experience with OneStream platform.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Financial Systems expertise.
  • C# and/or VB.NET coding experience.

  • Ability to anticipate needs, see the big picture, and align cross-functional efforts.
  • Understands platform architecture and the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience managing ongoing initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
