Assistant Varsity Football Coach - Offensive Line (2026-2027)

St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Assistant Varsity Football Coach - Offensive Line for the 2026-2027 school year. The Saints compete in the Interstate Athletic Conference and Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association, providing student-athletes with a highly competitive and rewarding athletic experience.

We are looking for a coach who will help develop student-athletes both on and off the field by emphasizing leadership, accountability, sportsmanship, character, and teamwork. Candidates should be committed to supporting the mission and values of the school while contributing positively to the culture of the football program.

This is a part-time, seasonal position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach and develop varsity offensive linemen in both individual and team settings
  • Assist with practice planning, game preparation, and film breakdown
  • Teach proper football fundamentals, techniques, and position-specific skills
  • Promote leadership, discipline, accountability, and sportsmanship within the program
  • Support the academic, social, and personal development of student-athletes
  • Collaborate effectively with the head coach and football staff to implement program goals and culture
  • Assist with strength and conditioning expectations during the season
  • Maintain positive communication with players, families, faculty, and the school community
  • Uphold and support the mission and values of St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School
Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Collegiate and/or high school playing experience
  • Previous coaching experience at high school, and/or collegiate level
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A commitment to mentoring and developing student-athletes
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a coaching staff and school community
