Job description

Music - Arts helps musicians start their journey to fill the world with music. We are looking for customer-centric individuals who want to join our team this peak season. As a seasonal sales associate, you will help customers rent, purchase and repair instruments. You will play a key role in our Customer First value and make sure customers have a great experience in our stores.

Essential Functions (not all-inclusive):

  • Demonstrate outstanding customer service to each and every customer
  • Work as a team in a retail environment
  • Generate sales to meet or exceed goals in rental categories
  • Complete rental agreements and provide correct products for each rental customer

Skills, Experience and Education:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 16 Years Old
  • A strong commitment to customer service
  • The ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and some holidays

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with the school music program and one or more instruments

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly required to stand
  • Frequently required to walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb stairs or a ladder
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
  • The job is typically performed under comfortable working conditions; occasionally required to complete tasks outdoors for short periods of time
