Job description

needs a Technical Analyst to support and enhance its wire processing applications and payment systems, acting as a liaison between Business, Operations, Technology, Compliance, and vendor partners. The role plays a key part in ISO 20022 transformation, merger and acquisition initiatives, system integrations, testing, data migrations, and ongoing application support within an Agile/Scrum environment.
TOP SKILLS
• Experience with ISO 20022 initiatives
• Experience with wire processing platforms such as Finastra PAYPlus, WITS, SWIFT, Fedwire, ACH, RTP, or similar payment solutions
• Experience with merger, acquisition, conversion, or large-scale migration projects
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide production support for wire processing applications and related payment systems, including monitoring, incident investigation, and RCA
• Support release deployments, system upgrades, and post-implementation validation
• Support ISO 20022 implementation: analyze message-format changes, data mapping, and integration impacts; validate transformations and compliance requirements
• Support merger/acquisition/conversion programs: customer, account, entitlement, template, and transaction migrations; data mapping, reconciliation, and validation; mock conversions and production cutovers
• Gather, document, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements; create process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, backlog refinement, reviews, retros); manage stories/defects in Jira
• Develop and execute test plans; support SIT, UAT, regression, performance, and conversion testing; manage defect triage and resolution tracking
REQUIREMENTS / MUST-HAVES
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years as a Technical Analyst, Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or related role
• Experience supporting wire processing, payments, treasury, or financial services applications
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with SDLC/application support processes
• Preferred: direct ISO 20022 experience; knowledge of payment compliance, sanctions screening, AML, and fraud prevention; experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps; familiarity with APIs, SQL, SFTP, middleware, and cloud technologies
