Job description

SUMMARY

The Box Office Coordinator assists the Box Office Manager with day-to-day box office operations for Ponte Vedra Concert Hall, ensuring efficient ticketing services, customer support, and accurate financial reporting. This role supports event ticketing, reconciliations, and communication with patrons, staff, and ticketing partners to maintain a seamless and professional box office experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist the Box Office Manager with all aspects of ticketing operations for SJCCE venues and events, specifically Ponte Vedra Concert Hall, including event setup, onsales, ticket inventory, and sales tracking.
  • Support backend ticket management, including event creation, holds, pricing, ticket text, and performance details in the ticketing system.
  • Administer ticketing databases, prepare settlement statements, and financial reports.
  • Provide customer service, resolving ticketing issues, complaints, and inquiries efficiently.
  • Assist with training and onboarding of seasonal box office staff.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support event operations.
  • Crosstrained to assist with ticketing operations at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, Ponte Vedra Concert Hall, Sing Out Loud Festival, and Fort Mose Jazz & Blues Series as needed.
  • Maintain a fulltime presence on the job

  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Able to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel and customers

  • Knowledge of venue logistics and operations, industry terminology, and specialized industry equipment
  • Working knowledge of dynamic ticketing systems
  • Working knowledge of computers and jobrelated ticketing software programs
  • EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  • Typically requires at least 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in box office operations, ticketing, or a related field
  • LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
