Job description

SEASONAL POSITION (NOW-SEPTEMBER) WITH FULL TIME DAY HOURS

$20 per hour

Overview: Merchandisers are key personnel responsible for merchandising, to assure the sell thru process of our products. Merchandisers will build and maintain business relationships with all our account partners.

Specific Job Duties:

  • Starting at pre-determined times set by first dock times
  • Completing all assignments given for the day
  • Insure P.O.S. is clean and functional. Clean, repair and install all P.O.S. as instructed by Sales Representative or Team Leader
  • Merchandising displays, coolers, walls, windows, etc. as instructed by Sales Representative or Team Leader
  • Building displays
  • Using creative merchandising ideas in display building
  • Assisting in shelf sets if needed
  • Ensure all product packaging reflects the integrity of the package. Immediately remove packages that do not meet with these standards.
  • Rotating all displays, backstock and shelves. Ensure all products with newer dates are not stacked in front of or on top of older product dates on all displays and backstock. Ensure that older dated product is placed in front of newer product on cooler shelves
  • Assisting in any product deliveries as needed
  • Monitoring and reporting all competitive activity in accounts
  • Completing required paperwork in a neat and timely fashion
  • Cleaning inside and outside of vehicle on a weekly schedule
  • Observing vehicle maintenance schedule
  • Completing all training courses assigned
  • Complete all other assigned tasks

    Qualifications:

    • Must be +21 years old
    • Must be qualified to operate applicable company vehicles
    • Class A CDL license is encouraged but not required
    • Physically qualified to handle company products
    • Physically able to handle all Company products – Department of Labor Level 4 Heavy Work Job Evaluation (exerting 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly).Occasionally lift up to 160 lbs.
