Job Summary:

The individual will work as part of the Quality Department, the QC Inspector will perform visual inspection of finished good parts and completion of documentation to verify compliance to specification; ensure conformance to requirements using calibrated measuring equipment and visual inspection; and interpret part drawings and specifications, and reference company work instructions and standard operating procedures.

You will be in 1st shift for 6-12 months of training and then will move to 3rd shift.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Inspect finished good parts for compliance to specification
  • Basic assembly drawings & shop math (Trigonometry)
  • Review Bill of Materials for completeness and accuracy including accessories and spare parts sales orders
  • Review completeness of packing lists
  • Ensure packaging is adequate Review
  • Sign-off Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP) reports
  • Collect and provide data required for critical part Final Inspection Reports (FIRs)
  • Complete Discrepant Material Report (DMR) forms for rejected parts
  • Fill out and file required reports, logs, databases, forms, and documents
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned
  • Verify product identification and traceability
  • Visual inspection of finished parts
  • Generating Certificate of Compliance(CoC)

Job Qualifications:

  • Preferred 2 years' experience performing in-process or final inspection preferably in a defense, automotive or aerospace business
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to correctly use and interpret basic measurement tools including weight gage, micrometer, caliper scale (linear), gage blocks, thread gages, torque drivers, and comparative standards
  • Visual inspection experience
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to understand and follow instructions
  • Independent; can work with limited supervision and direction
  • A high level of attention to detail

Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
