When a user enters a query, the search engine scans its database and returns relevant results, such as websites, images, videos, or news articles. Popular search engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo use complex algorithms to rank and display the most useful information. They play a crucial role in navigating the vast amount of data available online, making it easier for people to access what they need quickly and efficiently.
