By Day 60:

  • Confidently navigate tools, processes, and priorities with autonomy
  • Own site audit recommended fixes, content briefs (including internal linking opportunities, secondary keyword targets, and FAQs), and content optimizations across 5–6 client accounts while utilizing AI tools to support and enhance task completion efficiency.
  • Join company-wide internal team meetings such as All Hands and Team Syncs

By Day 90:
  • Actively support SEO Strategists across 8-10 client accounts
  • Start identifying trends and patterns during analysis, and share insights and recommendations

Your Day-to-Day as an SEO Specialist at elk Marketing:
  • Use Asana to prioritize deliverables and check on comms
  • Build SEO-focused campaigns and content briefs
  • Optimize on-page metadata, internal linking opportunities, and heading structures
  • Optimize on-page and blog content
  • Support SEO teams with client projects and implementation campaigns

  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
  • A foundational understanding of on-page SEO best practices
  • Bonus: Experience with Asana, Slack, Google Workspace, or SEO tools like SEMrush
Interview Process
We believe transparency sets the tone. Here’s what to expect:

  • Recruiter Screen: 20-30 minute call to go over compensation, benefits, elk Marketing, and the role
