Job description

We are looking for an experienced Crack Seal & Seal Coating Foreman to lead our pavement maintenance crew. This position requires someone with hands-on experience who can manage a crew, operate equipment, plan daily production, and ensure quality work from start to finish.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise crack sealing and seal coating crews.
  • Perform and oversee crack sealing, seal coating, and pavement preparation.
  • Properly clean and prepare cracks before applying crack seal material.
  • Operate crack seal melters/applicators and seal coating equipment.
  • Oversee pressure washing, blowing, sweeping, and surface preparation.
  • Mix and apply seal coating materials according to manufacturer requirements.
  • Protect curbs, sidewalks, buildings, concrete, and other areas from overspray.
  • Plan daily crew activities and maintain production goals.
  • Coordinate materials, equipment, and manpower needed for each project.
  • Inspect completed work and correct quality issues.
  • Maintain clean and organized jobsites and equipment.
  • Communicate job progress and field issues with supervisors.
  • Ensure crew members follow company safety procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Previous crack sealing and seal coating experience required.
  • Foreman or crew-lead experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of crack seal and seal coating materials and application procedures.
  • Ability to operate pavement maintenance equipment.
  • Ability to lead and train laborers and equipment operators.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Dependable, organized, and safety-minded.
  • Must be willing to work days, nights, and occasional weekends depending on project schedules.
