Position: Dietary Aide
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Shift: PRN
Salary: $22.01 per hour

Seagate Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate and reliable Dietary Aide to join our team. This role is essential in helping provide nutritious, high-quality meals and a positive dining experience for our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing and serving meals for residents, staff, and special events as directed by the Dietary Manager.

  • Serve food and snacks according to the planned menu, resident preferences, and dietary restrictions.

  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment by taking out trash, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work areas after each meal.

  • Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment, ensuring all items are properly cleaned and stored.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager to support smooth kitchen operations.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in food preparation or service preferred, but not required—training will be provided.

  • A caring and positive attitude with a genuine desire to improve residents’ quality of life.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and communicate effectively with staff and residents.

  • Commitment to maintaining safety, cleanliness, and professionalism at all times.
