Position Overview

Our client, a leading scientific testing laboratory, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Laboratory Project Coordinator to serve as the operational hub between clients and the laboratory team.
In this role, you'll oversee the intake and coordination of client testing projects, ensuring every project is accurately documented, validated, and prepared for laboratory processing. Success in this position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Review, validate, and process incoming client testing requests for completeness and accuracy.
Compare customer documentation with incoming sample shipments and resolve discrepancies before laboratory processing begins.
Communicate with clients via phone and email to obtain missing information, clarify project requirements, and ensure accurate documentation.
Create and manage laboratory projects within internal operating systems.
Coordinate with laboratory, quality assurance, shipping, and safety teams to ensure projects meet all processing requirements.
Support shipping and receiving activities, including documenting temperature deviations and maintaining required records.
Assist in maintaining Safety Data Sheet (SDS) documentation and department records.
Prioritize multiple active projects while maintaining exceptional accuracy and meeting turnaround expectations.
Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on quality, customer service, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
Associate degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
Experience using CRM or project management systems; HubSpot experience is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
