Job description

Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Minimum 5+ years of Scrum Master experience in Healthcare domain.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and SAFe frameworks.
  • Proven experience in PI Planning and program-level coordination.
  • Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams.
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery models, SDLC, metrics, and governance.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams in a healthcare environment.
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, Backlog Refinement.
  • Drive Agile maturity and ensure adherence to Agile/SAFe best practices.
  • Lead and support PI Planning activities, including planning readiness and coordination, dependency identification and management, risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Collaborate with Release Train Engineers (RTEs), Product Owners, Architects, and Stakeholders.
  • Coach teams on Agile principles, SAFe practices, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and remove impediments and blockers impacting delivery.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
  • Monitor and report Agile metrics, including velocity, sprint burndown/burnup, predictability, and sprint health.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of Healthcare systems (Claims, Enrollment, Member, Provider workflows).
  • Experience in regulated environments (HIPAA awareness).

Skills:

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) / Advanced CSM - Mandatory.
  • SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or SAFe Agilist (SA) - Preferred.
  • Additional Agile/Lean certifications are a plus.
