Job description

Title: Scrum Master & Agile Coach
Location: Atlanta, GA
Job Description:
Facilitate events & train IT Team Leads (Scrum & accountability)
Train Team Leads in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, ticket board clean-ups, and best practices. Reinforce story refinement, prioritization, collaboration, and documentation.
Coach teams & train IT Leads to coach teams
Demonstrate Scrum/Kanban usage; ensure self-organization and continuous improvement. Hold Leads accountable to priority alignment. Train teams on incident management and collaborative issue resolution.
Analyze and remove impediments
Teach Leads to identify and remove blockers, manage incidents using PM tools, perform dependency analysis, and integrate findings into ceremonies.
Manage backlogs daily
Work with Technical Leads and IT Management to maintain a clean, priority-aligned backlog.
Promote continuous improvement
Lead retrospectives and ensure actionable improvements are documented, scheduled, and completed.
Reinforce process adherence
Ensure use of Scrum for developers and Kanban for infrastructure/operations. Implement WIP limits, workflow visualization, and documentation of repeatable tasks.
Foster collaboration
Guide Scrum and Kanban teams to communicate effectively for successful incremental deployments.
Drive team effectiveness
Document training, best practices, and maintain a Working Agreement to remove ambiguity around roles and responsibilities.
