Job description

An Indiana community pharmacy is seeking two licensed and PTCB-certified Pharmacy Technicians with retail experience to support their team. This contract opportunity offers a flexible part-time schedule averaging 24-30 hours per week, ideal for professionals seeking consistent weekday hours without weekend shifts.
Location: Francesville, IN
Schedule:

  • Approximately 24-30 hours weekly
  • Preferably Wednesday through Friday
  • Pharmacy hours 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday-Friday
Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing prescription orders accurately using PioneerRx software (experience preferred)
  • Filling prescriptions efficiently and verifying accuracy
  • Assisting customers at the register, providing courteous service
  • Completing initial 3-day training and orientation before starting
  • Potential to support a sister location after training as needed
Qualifications:
  • Current Indiana Pharmacy Technician license and PTCB certification required
  • Prior retail pharmacy experience is essential
  • Familiarity with order entry systems, particularly PioneerRx, is preferred
  • Experience with Eyecon Medication Counting Device is a plus
  • Local candidates only, given the need for hands-on training and potential site coverage
Additional Details:
  • Average daily prescription volume is approximately 30 scripts, facilitating focused and manageable workflow
  • The pharmacy has a small, close-knit staff comprising two technicians and pharmacists who remotely verify prescriptions
