Job description

A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for an experienced Staff Pharmacist to join a team focused on exceptional customer care and collaborative teamwork. This position offers a 13-week contract-to-hire arrangement with a well-established pharmacy serving a high volume of prescriptions.
Location: Rathdrum, ID
Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
  • Rotating Saturdays, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm (Saturday shifts come with an off day Thursday or Friday)
  • Approximately 24-32 hours per week
    Team Environment:
  • Work alongside 3 pharmacy technicians, 2 pharmacists, and 1 cashier
  • Utilize the Pioneer system for prescription management
  • Manage daily prescription volume of 300-400 scripts
Responsibilities:
  • Accurately verify prescriptions to ensure patient safety
  • Provide patient counseling with a strong emphasis on personalized care
  • Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient operations
  • Uphold excellent customer service standards fostering a helpful, team-oriented atmosphere
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Current, active pharmacist license in Idaho
  • Proven retail pharmacy experience
  • Updated resume, skills checklist, and professional references
