Pharmacy Technician - Joliet, IL - $18-21/hr

Pay: $18 to $21 per hour Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM to 03:00 PM Independent Retail Pharmacy

About the Role

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Joliet. You'll assist the pharmacist with prescription preparation, customer service, and daily pharmacy operations in a busy retail pharmacy. No corporate bureaucracy—just real work with real impact.

Responsibilities

Process prescriptions using pharmacy software

Prepare medications under pharmacist supervision

Assist patients at the counter and by phone

Manage medication inventory and stock

Maintain accurate patient records

Support pharmacists with daily workflow and operations

Requirements

Illinois Pharmacy Technician license (required) OR willingness to obtain within 90 days with our support

Retail pharmacy experience preferred but not required

CPhT certification preferred

Strong attention to detail & ability to multitask

Excellent customer service & communication skills

English required; Spanish strongly preferred.

No retail experience? We actively train motivated licensed technicians. Our pharmacist team will teach you retail operations, patient engagement, and pharmacy management.

Schedule

Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Saturday: 9:00 AM to 03:00 PM
