Job description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A retail independent pharmacy in Plains, GA, is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a per diem position. This role involves working one day per week, with shifts scheduled between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. The pharmacy operates with a team of one pharmacist and three technicians, managing a daily script volume of approximately 275 prescriptions.

Responsibilities include accurate prescription processing, patient counseling, and collaborating with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient operations within an independent retail environment. Experience with the Pioneer RX system is preferred, though training will be provided for the right candidate.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Georgia pharmacy license
  • Experience working in retail pharmacy settings
  • Familiarity with Pioneer RX system is beneficial but not mandatory
