Cymertek Corporation is a growing small business and trusted federal contractor specializing in information technology and cybersecurity. They are seeking a talented Forensics Scripting Developer to design, develop, and optimize scripts for forensic analysis, while collaborating with analysts to automate processes and uncover critical insights.
Responsibilities:
• Develop custom forensic scripts for analysis
• Automate data extraction and parsing tasks
• Collaborate with forensic analysts to identify scripting needs
• Optimize and troubleshoot existing scripts
• Document and maintain script libraries
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards in forensics
Qualifications:
Required:
• Proficiency in Python or PowerShell
• Knowledge of forensic tools (e.g., EnCase, FTK)
• Familiarity with file system structures and data recovery techniques
• Experience with data acquisition from various sources
