We are looking for highly qualified candidates for a contract positioned onsite at the Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, NM supporting the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) SSHINE contract.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Write and maintain Java software used to establish connections for status & control of ground equipment.
  • Deploy new containerized software applications in Kubernetes orchestration environment.
  • Manage existing CI/CD pipelines and develop new deployment features.
  • Perform software engineering support for systems implementation.
  • Write and maintain Java software to support launch operations.
  • Assist team members primarily on Java programming utilizing the Spring Boot framework.
  • Develop and maintain React-based user interfaces.
  • Assist with new customer requests by extending and enhancing existing capabilities and creating new ones where needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education/ Years of Relevant Experience: 10+ years of experience with BS degree or 5+ years of experience with MS degree or 0+ years of experience with PhD degree
  • Clearance: TS with eligibility for SCI Poly
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.

Required Skills:

  • Experience and proficiency with Java programming language.
  • Experience in Software design and development.
  • Experience with Java build systems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledgeable with IDE for Java software development or other similar experience.
  • Experience with Gitlab or other similar experience.
