Job Title:  Promotion Producer - WSOC TV Telemundo

Position Overview

Telemundo Charlotte is looking for a Promotion Producer who will work with the Telemundo network on entertainment and sports promotion, shoot, write, and edit promotional and community spots and social ads. They will also assist with client production, news promotion and content

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Handle the important roles of writing, shooting and editing compelling and innovative videos for Telemundo Charlotte and our clients for broadcast and digital
  • Use Videography to create amazing scenes and spots that stand out and help showcase the client and their strengths
  • Edits proficiently on Adobe editing platforms, specifically Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Coordinates community engagement and planning to represent station at events
  • Handles Spanish language news content & promotions
  • Brings big ideas to life, always looking for new ways to innovate the production process
  • Manage tight deadlines, all production planning and execution from start to finish
Minimum Qualifications
  • The successful candidate will have a minimum 3-4 years working in marketing, promotion, production and/or broadcast television as a producer/photographer/editor
  • Must be familiar with social media posting, content management interface
  • Excellent communication, organization, and script-writing skills are required
  • Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Arts in Production, Marketing or Broadcast related field preferred
