Position Summary:
The Payroll Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for leveraging advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning to enhance payroll operations, improve data accuracy, and drive strategic decision-making. This role transforms payroll data into actionable insights and builds predictive solutions that improve efficiency, compliance, and workforce transparency.
This position partners across Payroll, HR, Finance, and IT to develop scalable analytics and automation solutions that elevate payroll from a transactional function to a data-driven business capability
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Insights
• Analyze large-scale payroll datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and business opportunities
• Develop dashboards and visualizations to provide actionable insights to stakeholders
• Perform exploratory data analysis to support workforce, cost, and compliance decision
• Build predictive models (e.g., forecasting, classification, clustering) to improve payroll decision-making
• Design and test statistical and machine learning models using structured and unstructured data
• Ensure ongoing model performance, accuracy, and relevance over time
• Identify, extract, cleanse, and integrate data from payroll and enterprise systems
• Develop data pipelines and transformation processes to support analytics and modeling
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across payroll datasets
• Develop analytical and automation solutions using SQL, Python, R, or similar tools
• Build reusable data assets, scripts, and models to support ongoing analytics needs

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
