Job Title:  Promotions Producer - WFTV Orlando

Position Overview

WFTV/WRDQ is seeking a Promotions Producer who will create exciting promotions for the #1 news station in Central Florida!  

Candidate will create compelling and innovative promotions for WFTV/WRDQ, on every platform. Candidate must be a passionate self-starter who works well with a team, has big ideas, is innovative, can adapt research into their work, handle tight deadlines and able to handle all production planning and execution from start to finish. A focus on excellence with a ‘can-do’ attitude is a must.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Writing, producing, shooting and editing promotional campaigns
  • Working closely with Creative Services Director and the entire promotions team on branding and marketing strategies across all platforms
  • Contributing to daily operational duties of the Creative Services Department
  • Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends when necessary 
  • Required to maintain valid driver’s license and drive company vehicles
Minimum Qualifications
  • Excellent communication, organization, and script writing skills are required
  • Minimum 2-3 years working in commercial production and/or broadcast television
  • Fluent in developing scripts for PSA’s, testimonials, and retail projects
  • Experience in shooting with cinema cameras, lighting, editing with Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop
  • Design and rich media experience a plus
  • Required to have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Arts in Production, Marketing or Broadcast related field preferred
