Technical Writer โ€“ SAP Documentation (Simple Explanation)

Location: Tolleson, AZ (100% Onsite)
Duration: 06-months contract (may extend)
Schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday, 8:00 AMโ€“5:00 PM

What You'll Do

  • Talk to warehouse, supply chain, manufacturing, and SAP teams to understand how they do their work.
  • Write clear SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and work instructions that explain step-by-step processes.
  • Document how employees use SAP for tasks like inventory management, purchasing, production, and shipping.
  • Create process flowcharts and user guides.
  • Update documents based on feedback from managers and subject matter experts.
  • Help prepare documentation for employee training, testing (UAT), and SAP go-live activities.

Required Skills

  • At least 3 years of technical writing or SOP writing experience.
  • Experience documenting processes in manufacturing, warehouse, or supply chain environments.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint (Visio is a plus).
