Job Description:
Targeted Years of Experience: 7-10 years
Working Model: Hybrid- Every Thursday in office
Responsibilities:
  • This position requires excellent understanding of Quality Assurance principles for a fast-paced Agile Environment.
  • Leading Testing efforts multiple projects coordinating with User Acceptance Teams, external stakeholders, IT teams to deliver technical test automation deliverables for sprint delivery/Agile iterations.
  • Strong Functional Testing experience with knowledge of QA Automation tools.
  • Ideal candidate will be responsible for scoping, designing, implementing, and maintaining automated and manual test scripts for the purpose of application project testing, and regression testing scripts. Responsible to Maintain and Configure Non-Prod Environments, troubleshooting environmental issues Work closely with DBA team and own Data Refresh, Test data setup for multiple non-prod environments.
  • Working closely with the business UAT teams, 3rd party vendors to ensure Testing for each sprint is complete, required signoff is acquired per timelines Test business processes/products across applications with an end-to-end process flow.
  • Manage escalations with developers regarding code defects, fix priority and ticket closure.
  • Understanding of all phases of the Software Development Life-cycle, including system analysis Debugging skills & exposure to DevOps tools (Jenkins/Gitlab/Artifactory) etc Create, shape, and monitor test plans for scalability, security, functionality, and usability Planning the testing strategies, methods for projects and customizing the testing as needed. Implementing, executing and capturing results of test plans/test scripts/test cases. Experience with Test-Driven, or Behavior-Driven design methodologies Understanding and appreciation of adaptive development methods (agile/scrum and lean) Excellent time-management and task/effort estimation skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as interpersonal skills

MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
  • 5+ Years of Automation tools for QA Selenium, SOAPUI/Postman, qTEST , Java, Automation, TestNG, Web Services, XML, Unix, REST API Testing, 6+ Years of Functional testing experience 4+ Years of Oracle, Write SQL queries Exposure to Unix/Linux & scripting tools

DESIRED SKILLS:
  • Functional knowledge regarding Order provisioning, Billing as it relates to Telecom is huge Plus
  • Exposure to DevOps tools (Jenkins/ GITlab) is a plus Exposure of Open-source tools and Cloud Environment AI/ML in Test Automation will be huge plus
