We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Service Writer to join our dynamic team in Cheshire, CT. This role is crucial to our Service Department, working closely with the Service Manager and Service Technicians to ensure efficient and accurate processing of invoices. Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Service Managers and Service Technicians to process daily paperwork efficiently.
  • Engage directly with customers to gather information about their equipment and update them on repair status.
  • Adhere to the Service Process to ensure accuracy and timely processing of orders.
  • Process payments for COD customers using various payment methods.
  • Enter Service Orders into the system daily and manage all open and completed orders.
  • Provide backup and support for Service Writers at other locations as needed.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong phone communication skills, maintaining professionalism in stressful situations.
