Title: Production Assistant (Part-Time)

FLSA: Non-exempt

Reports to: Director of Creative Services

Date: July 2026

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Production Assistant will work in the BronxNet Studios and Field Productions as behind-the-scenes support for in-studio & field productions.

Essential Functions

• Assist with researching, script writing, editing and preparation for in-studio and field productions

• Xpression Graphics system and assisting on the studio floor for prerecorded or live productions.

• Assist with studio environment including operating studio, field and PTZ cameras, teleprompter, audio board.

• Prepare the studio for each show and clear the studio after all shows have been completed.

• Assist production crew in the BronxNet Studios and field productions.

• Fulfill productions and scheduling requests from the Director of Creative Services.

EDUCATION

• Familiarity with Adobe Premiere and Final Cut

• Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and GSuite

• Excellent judgment, strong organizational and decision-making skills

• Detail-oriented; able to handle multiple tasks and manage time efficiently

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Must have ability to work in a highly collaborative, deadline-driven team environment

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• 1-2 years of PA experience

• Experience in live shows, live-to-tape shows and field events production assistance.

• Well versed in studio cameras, teleprompter, CCU, audio, Xpression Graphics and floor managing

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment includes small and or enclosed spaces. No adverse environmental conditions expected.

On-site Requirements:

This position is primarily an on-site position at our Lehman or La Central Studios.

Some field productions may require being outdoors.

Physical Demands:

• Prolonged periods of sitting, standing and walking around

• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times

• Some travel may be required.
