Risk and Compliance Program Manager | Dallas, Texas, United States
Location: NATIONWIDE FULL REMOTE - slight preference for PST time zone
Summary: The Junior Compliance Automation Engineer bridges the gap between technical automation and regulatory compliance. This role streamlines Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) efforts by writing scripts, leveraging cutting-edge AI tools, and transforming messy data into structured, machine-readable formats. As a junior to mid-level position, navigating complex compliance frameworks is supported by comprehensive training and mentorship to master the world of compliance certifications.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate repetitive compliance tasks and data workflows. Utilize modern AI tools (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot, Gemini) to accelerate development, analyze data, and optimize compliance processes
Convert unstructured documents, policies, and evidence files into structured, machine-readable formats (JSON, CSV, XML, etc.).
Assist with both manual updates and the building of automation within Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) systems.
Actively participate in training sessions to learn complex compliance frameworks and certification requirements. Demonstrate a strong work ethic, a commitment to high-quality work, and a passion for learning new skills.
Work independently, manage time effectively, and take ownership of tasks.
Communicate honestly, value transparency, and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
