A Patient Service Rep at Scripts Rx, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, helps the pharmacists provide medication to patients and consumers. Patient Service Reps work in an omnichannel (call, text, chat, and email) patient contact center environment where key tasks include contacting patients, performing patient insurance eligibility checks, preparing prescriptions for delivery, supporting prior authorization processing, addressing patient prescription concerns, and managing inbound pharmacy call volume.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required and college degree preferred
  • Texas and Home State technician license required
  • Experience in a pharmacy, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry is preferred but not required
  • Experience in a call center environment is preferred but not required
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Experience with providing white glove customer service situations
  • Experienced and excels at multitasking
  • Agile and willing to work in a consistently evolving work environment
  • Comfortable with technology and working with computers

Compensation: $19.00 to $22.00 per hour based on experience

Benefits Offered: Healthcare, retirement, and vacation time available after 90 days

Shifts: Typically, this position offers 8-hour shifts 5 days a week. 8am-4pm, 9:30am-5:30pm, or 12am-8pm. Shifts may vary depending on need of pharmacy. The Pharmacy is open 8am-7pm M-F and 10am-2pm every Saturday CST.
