We're looking for A: Direct response copywriters whose mission will be to combine creative storytelling with proven persuasion to generate scalable ad & sales funnel content. This role focuses on crafting and refining scripts for VSLs and short-form video ads to capture attention and sustain engagement, driving viewers to convert. This role works closely with the Manager, Video Editors, to craft & iterate on persuasive direct response copy, to maximize conversions.

Location: Hybrid, Burbank, CA

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Work onsite 3 days per week to sit alongside video editors, reviewing and refining content in real time for maximum impact
  • Write and edit successful scripts for front-end video sales letters & ads
  • Develop a deep understanding of each product to create accurate, compelling, and persuasive content
  • Conduct research to ensure that written content is accurate
  • Collaborate on a deep level with media buyers, video editors and product development team to ensure direct response copy is accurate, compelling, and persuasive
  • Storytelling - translate product features & ingredients into compelling narratives that connect with viewers emotionally
  • Constantly develop fresh ideas & angles for letter copy, campaigns, hooks, video concepts, etc.
  • Support the growth / acquisition team on other direct response copy needs
  • Drive projects from concept to completion

  • Intensive research experience using primary sources
  • Ability to craft engaging, high converting scripts for sales letters & ads
  • Excellent writing, editing, proofreading skills to ensure error-free copy with a readable cadence
  • Skilled at refining copy based on data, feedback, and testing to iterate and improve overall copy performance

The base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000
